Customer ops and compliance, with a focus on inclusion and data rights
United Kingdom
Making data protection understandable and workers' rights practical
I help regulated organisations handle complex casework clearly and fairly, from subject access requests and payment disputes to union support and inclusion work. I've worked in fintech, cybersecurity, and building society banking, where the work is high-volume and the stakes are real.
As a senior union rep and Data Protection Officer for UTAW, I handle SARs, support data governance, and advocate for fair treatment. I also lead on EDI at Leeds Comets CIC, building inclusive spaces in community sport for LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse people.
I'm neurodivergent and queer, and that shapes how I approach inclusion work. I know what spaces feel like when they're not designed for you.

I help with
- · Customer operations in regulated sectors (banking, fintech): troubleshooting payments, handling complaints, de-escalating complex cases
- · Data protection: SARs, GDPR compliance, translating privacy policies into plain English
- · Workers' rights and EDI: union representation, policy review, creating accessible processes and spaces
